Summary

The Telemedicine Operations Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations for the Office of Telemedicine. Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Telemedicine Operations Manager proactively assesses and implements appropriate processes to ensure that all facets of telemedicine operations are effectively addressed. This includes: project planning and implementation, patient and provider access, health system revenue cycle management, payor contracting compliance, health information management, patient and provider flow, legal and regulatory compliance, patient safety, quality initiatives, patient and provider experience, OJHP goals, and the Office of Telemedicine Goals in coordination with Health IT goals. The Manager position directly supervises designated operations staff with responsibility for employee on-boarding, development and engagement. The Telemedicine Operations Manager supports program needs for implementing telemedicine programs for both inpatient and outpatient programs, in coordination with departments, advocates, and telemedicine leadership. The Manager works collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and staff to ensure timely operational efficiency, practice optimization, and fiscal integrity

Education/ Work Experience: Bachelor's degree required. Master's in Business Administration, Health Administration or related field preferred

Work Experience: Three to five years in a department or hospital setting with prior practice management or supervisory experience desired. Inpatient clinical background desired.
