Job Summary

The Training Delivery Manager role leads, coaches, and develops trainers across the Altice and the Optimum brand. This role is responsible for managing training day-to-day delivery operations, administering the established trainer certification process, and ensuring frontline employee engagement in training. This role reports to the Director of Training Delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of trainers focused on high-quality instructor capability to accelerate learner retention that drives on-the-job performance metrics.
  • Evaluate facilitators' performance during training sessions and remedy any gaps present.
  • Oversee the quality of training sessions, ensuring they meet organizational standards and learner needs.
  • Facilitate discussions with instructors to drive improvements in meeting participant performance metrics.
  • Assess trainer skills and recommend development opportunities to ensure continuous improvement and high-quality instruction.
  • Analyze and optimize trainer utilization to ensure effective use of resources and maximize training impact.
  • Provide regular summary reports to management, outlining the impact of training on employee skills, performance metrics, and corporate goals.
  • Collaborate with department managers and training program managers to plan and coordinate training schedules and content delivery.
  • Collaborate with technology teams to utilize tools and platforms that enhance training delivery and continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with instructional design teams to ensure training materials are effective and up-to-date.
  • Develop and implement processes to ensure trainers and participants have all necessary tools and materials for successful learning experiences.
  • Initiate and lead meetings with business leaders to drive utilization in classes and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Implement and maintain a trainer certification program to ensure foundational skills are met and evaluated regularly.
  • Schedule sessions with external provider trainer delivery to ensure continuous quality and improvement.
  • Stay informed on industry best practices and incorporate them into the training program as appropriate.


Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years in Learning & Development, focused on adult learning. (required)
  • 3+ years of people management experience. (preferred)
  • Strong collaboration, communication, influence, and consulting skills. 
  • Exceptional leadership and managerial skills with strong interpersonal and communication abilities, professional demeanor, and confidence.
  • Experience designing, developing, and delivering impactful learning experiences across multiple modalities that build essential capabilities for frontline employees. 
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles, learning best practices, learning technology, and innovation. 
  • Knowledge of various training and teaching methods.
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills with the ability to be flexible with company initiatives.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
