JOB SUMMARY: Understanding premium and luxury brand, domestic and international demographics on global itineraries for 7-day, Extended Journeys, Grand Voyages and 180-day World Cruises. Providing a variety of high caliber Guest Entertainer (GE) talent for OCI & RSSC guests with the goal to exceed guests' expectations while striving for high guest satisfaction scores. Providing managerial direction with agents, entertainers, and onboard Ship's Management for the onboard entertainment program.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES
  • Audition, hire, and schedule diverse high-caliber GE (comedy, instrumentalists, classical, contemporary, vocalists, multi-person acts) for OCI and RSSC, ensuring they meet brand standards and interact with guests effectively.
  • Create and adjust GE programming by building and updating the GE grid, rotating entertainers every 7-12 days based on global itineraries.
  • Manage an annual operations budget exceeding $5 million, monitoring spending, resolving discrepancies, and seeking cost-saving opportunities.
  • Process and approve all GE payroll invoices, including travel expenses and reimbursements.
  • Collaborate with talent agencies to source new and emerging talent and maintain relationships with existing agencies.
  • Review Voyage Reports and evaluations, maintain a database of guest satisfaction and feedback, and communicate with agents about performance improvements.
  • Train and mentor Specialists on entertainment operations and liaise with OCI and RSSC Onboard Revenue for GE stateroom blocks and special requests.
  • Address guest inquiries with OCI and RSSC Special Services and coordinate with various departments for Reunion Cruises, charters, and group requests.
  • Approve Folkloric and In-Port Performance requests, ensuring fees are appropriate, and maintain a global Folkloric Grid with ongoing research.
  • Conduct site inspections, attend entertainment showcases globally, and maintain communication with Ship's Management, Entertainment Managers, and assist NCL with GE-related requests as needed.
  • Perform other job-related functions as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

DEGREE TYPE: Bachelor's Degree

FIELD(S) OF STUDY: Theatre, Arts

EXPERIENCE:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in the entertainment industries.
  • Onboard and/or shoreside cruise industry experience preferred.
  • Knowledgeable with premium and luxury brands, developing and implementing programming within Ent. Cruise Programs.
  • Experience with contemporary, national, international, and multi-generational entertainment, activities and creative programming.

  • Computer literate and skilled to build grids, PPT, BOX and other related tools to improve efficiencies.
  • Must be organized, efficient and conduct business with integrity.
