Enterprise Comms & MarTech Experiences (ECMX) enables high quality, innovative marketing through campaign consultation and execution and by developing best-in-class products and processes which modernize the marketing ecosystem. Every year ECMX helps its business and marketing partners across the enterprise launch more than 28,000 marketing campaigns.

The Marketing Compliance Review (MCR) team within ECMX is responsible for consulting with marketing content creators, helping them develop effective and compliant messaging and ultimately reviewing and approving marketing creatives to ensure they conform with applicable regulations, legal requirements, Brand guidelines and Company policies.

MCR is seeking two (2) Managers to work with a wide group of Marketing business partners to consult on the development and successful launch of marketing which supports strategic business objectives and meets compliance standards. This is a senior MCR role that requires experienced, proven candidates who are comfortable working on new concepts and approaches and confident working in a gray space that exists beyond the traditional marketing of AXP products and services.

How will you make an impact in this role?

· Provide sound and timely feedback on financial education content and messaging.

· Advise business clients and stakeholders of messaging challenges and propose creative solutions to messaging strategies.

· Apply marketing/advertising review expertise and experience with an emphasis on UDAAP, claim evaluation, intellectual property and net impression.

· Partner with business clients to ensure messaging meets business needs and compliance standards.

· Identify and support process improvements to enhance the review process and to promote agility and efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications

· 2+ years of marketing/advertising review experience

· 2+ years in a Compliance, Legal or Quality Assurance role

· Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications

· Extensive experience in marketing review with the ability to interpret and apply advertising laws and regulations in a practical, common-sense manner.

· Ability to think critically and to navigate complex messaging issues without the benefit of robust procedures and guidelines.

· Comfortable evaluating new and never seen concepts and collaborating with business partners to generate creative and innovative solutions to messaging challenges.

· Extreme attention to detail and organization with the ability to retain decisions/agreements accumulated over time and to enforce them with confidence in future communications.

· Strong leadership skills and strong customer focus with emphasis on consultation and collaboration to achieve results.

· Ability to communicate complex issues clearly and persuasively, in both written and oral format.

· Ability to work both independently and collaboratively to identify and strategically pursue business objectives.

· Ability to manage multiple tasks, take on new responsibilities and prioritize work in a dynamic, deadline intensive environment.

· Proven ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with business clients, stakeholders and colleagues.

· Capacity to be agile, open-minded, comfortable and confident operating in "gray space" where decisions and accountability rest with you.

· Strong work ethic and personal accountability.

Qualifications

Salary Range: $90,000.00 to $165,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
