Job Summary:

The Manager of the Kelly Alumni & Visitors Center is responsible for managing, supporting and coordinating all Kelly Center operations. The Manager supervises and trains all graduate assistants, undergraduate student assistants and part-time employees. This position is also responsible for communicating with and directing Kelly Center visitors and patrons.

Duties & Essential Job Functions:

1. Oversee all aspects of the Dee J. Kelly Alumni and Visitor Center, including but not limited to event management, building operations, AV equipment support, monitoring housekeeping program, supervising the student worker program, providing follow up on facility repair, and developing, disseminating, and following Kelly Center policies and procedures.
2. Supervises graduate assistants and undergraduate student assistants by coaching, overseeing work product, evaluating performance, and developing improvement plans to address employment concerns.
3. Oversees Kelly Center budget, including forecasting and allocation of funds for planning and development purposes.
4. Manages event management software for the Dee J. Kelly Alumni and Visitors Center.
5. Manages event execution by facilitating room setups and equipment to client specifications; ensuring A/V equipment is available and operating; troubleshooting all aspects of building operations.
6. Maintains a safe and clean environment by developing cooperative relationships with housekeeping, food service, maintenance staff and TCU Police.
7. Manages digital signage by updating content and troubleshooting issues.
8. Maintains effective departmental and divisional relationships and knowledge by attending scheduled division, department, Kelly Center staff and student assistant meetings.
9. Performs other related duties as assigned in supporting the TCU Alumni Association under University Advancement.

Required Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree and 3 plus years' experience in event management and or related experience.
