Airswift is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer, to work a 1-year assignment, with one of our major clients in the Indianola, PA area.

In this position, the Manufacturing Engineer need to have experience in the medical device industry and will be responsible for supporting new technology, new product introduction, and product life cycle/sustaining into Sterile Disposable manufacturing sites.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Assist/lead development and implementation of various deliverables associated with project plans to ensure timely execution and meet project deadlines.
  • Work with cross-functional team to implement various engineering changes with respect to design/manufacturing drawings, DMRI updates, process documentation updates, design reviews, etc.
  • Provide project updates to manager/project teams on various deliverables/timelines.
  • Provide input on project timelines.
  • Assist/lead on production protocols to qualify and implement new manufacturing processes.
Competency Requirements:
  • Proven ability to conduct and document technical activities such as process development analyses, component/product testing, technical risk assessments, process validations, etc.
  • Working knowledge of document management and change management systems.
  • Working knowledge of CAD or other equivalent drafting software.
  • Proven ability to organize and present technical data in a manner to drive fact-based decisions.
  • Examples of highly motivated and/or self-initiated engineering experiences.
  • Minimum of Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Plastics preferred) and at least two (2+) years of engineering experience.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong understanding of regulated medical device manufacturing GMPs.
  • Knowledge of sterile disposable product manufacturing in a cleanroom environment.
  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with co-workers.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to frequent changes in workload and priorities.
