Responsibilities:
• Lead and design manufacturing methods, best practices, and cyclical standardized work to support
operations.
• Design, standardize, and deploy manufacturing engineering processes to meet quality and cycle time
expectations analyzing cyclical standard work and developing documentation and standards.
• Diagnose manufacturing problems using fast problem-solving, project problem solving, 5-Whys, 8-
Disciplines, FMEA, and prevention techniques.
• Utilize the scientific method for the root cause problem solving and implementing irreversible corrective
actions.
• Design fixtures, tooling, electromechanical, mechanical, and electronic error-proofing to improve
manufacturability and quality.
• Assess DFA (Design for Assembly) and DFM (Design for Manufacturability) principles in the legacy
manufacturing products and processes to perform a recurrent work plan to mitigate and solve lifetime
problems embedded in the product and process design.
• Lead the automation team and devise automation strategies promoting robotics, AGVs (Automated Guided
Vehicles), and intelligent process automation to fix critical problems embedded in the manufacturing
process.
• Manage asset budget, capital projects and production support projects for automation, tooling, and
manufacturing engineering.
• Manage material numbers, work centers, MBOM (manufacturing bill of materials) and documents to match
the manufacturing process with the ERP established process.
• Design segmentation strategies to properly align MTS (Make-to-Stock) and ATO (Assemble-to Order)
material numbers identifying parts, sub-assemblies, and assemblies and create error-proofing system.
• Design and develop work systems that describe, maintain, and ensure the execution of the manufacturing
engineering responsibilities, establishing guidelines to properly support production.
• Strategic liaison in manufacturing processes, tooling design, tooling fabrication, and automation
• Design and execute resilient supply chain strategies through insourcing processes and designing and
implementing manufacturing methods to support solutions to supply chain challenges.

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required
• Years of Experience: 7 or more years of relevant experience in engineering and manufacturing processes
• Software Knowledge: Microsoft Office, SAP, Catia, Unigraphics, Solidworks, finite element modelling
software, CAD/CAM, Vericut, Siemens PLC coding, Allen Bradley coding, machine G-coding
• Project Management experience required, PMP certification preferred
• Experience with tooling design, manufacturing design and ERP system
