Manufacturing \/ Engineering Team Leader

Purpose of the Position:
The Manufacturing / Engineering Team Leader is responsible for supervising and directing the day-to-day activities of the department at Client. This role involves supporting the allocation of resources, managing tasks, and addressing process, product, and compliance issues.
Key Responsibilities:

• Attendance Management: Review daily attendance of personnel assigned to production lines, ensuring optimal allocation based on experience for maximum productivity.
• Production Order Follow-Up: Monitor and track production orders based on shop requirements.
• Maintenance Coordination: Request maintenance support for equipment downtime to minimize disruptions.
• Issue Communication: Address issues with employees by submitting occurrence tickets and facilitating effective communication.
• Problem Resolution: Actively resolve operational issues on the production line.
• Policy Enforcement: Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• PPE Compliance: Verify that all personnel are utilizing personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Escalation: Communicate and escalate any significant issues to the Shift Production Supervisor.
• Training: Facilitate the training of new operators to ensure proficiency in their roles.

Minimum Knowledge and Skills Required:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Work Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment preferred.
• Additional Abilities:
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of computer equipment.
  • Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office software.

Extraordinary Activities:

• Collaborate and participate in internal and external audits within the department (e.g., ISO, TL, 5S, Safety).
• Engage in required training or certifications as mandated by the company or position.
