We are looking for individuals with a strong interest in and capability of performing mechanical and maintenance activities on complex tool sets, able to effectively collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams, and ability to read and understand technical instructions and mechanical drawings. As a Maintenance Mechanic in one of our wafer fab clean rooms, you will execute scheduled maintenance work adhering to the approved best known method for all tasks completed as well as tr ack and assemble of parts required to complete maintenance ahead of time. In this role you will work to c omplete qualifications required to bring equipment fully out of maintenance state and into production. We will provide on-the-job training plan that provides a clear path to required certifications and advancement

Core responsibilities include:

  • Disassemble, clean, and rebuild Implant assemblies removed during Preventive Maintenance on the tools
  • Perform basic maintenance of all equipment used in the Implant Parts Clean Shop
  • Identify and communicate issues on Implant components maintained in the shop to engineers and technicians
  • Order and maintain an inventory of parts needed for proper cleaning and assembly of Implant assemblies
  • Prepare required passdown and update reports for the area to a insure constant workflow and availability of Implant parts

Minimum requirements:
  • High School diploma/GED
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to work 12 hour compressed work schedule
  • Flexible to work day or night shift that will include one weekend shift and holidays
  • 5 years of work experience

Preferred qualifications:
  • Self-driven with ability to prioritize area needs for parts and insure readiness for all PM activities
  • Understanding of PM activities on ion implanters, and where specific rebuilt parts are used in the area.
  • Hands on experience with AMAT Trident, HCS/HCP, 900/MEHD, and Axcelis HE3/HC3 source area assemblies
  • Hands on experience with cleaning and assembly of PM components of all DMOS6 implanter tool types
  • Demonstrated understanding of Trackworks and PTS, understanding of TI stocking and parts ordering
  • Ability to both properly use and perform basic maintenance on bead blasters, ultrasonic systems, and wet hoods.
  • Understanding of vacuum leak checking and use of a leak checker
  • Ability to work as a team with other technicians to improve output, quality and production as a group
  • Ability to work effectively in an interrupt-driven, fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain critical assemblies through accurate calibration and use of alignment tools
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
