We have an excellent opportunity for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Manager to join our team in Fremont, CA. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating customer service RMA area cases, manage material receipt and work orders, and oversee repair schedules. Your role involves supervising personnel, implementing efficient procedures, and collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth operations. Strong leadership skills, electronics knowledge, and experience in aftermarket or repair are essential for success in this unique service-oriented manufacturing role.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate customer service RMA area cases, including warranty, upgrade, diagnostic, verification, and repair processes.
  • Manage material receipt and set up work orders for product processing.
  • Collaborate with Purchasing and Shop departments for material coordination.
  • Provide RMA status updates to the Sales team.
  • Plan and execute repair schedules based on need dates, resource availability, and material supply.
  • Supervise and develop personnel for efficient area operation.
  • Identify and address resource constraints (equipment, labor) in repair stations.
  • Implement procedures to maximize efficiency, production goals, quality, and cost objectives.
  • Interface with other support departments as needed.

Requirements:
  • Receive assignments and establish goals to meet objectives.
  • Provide guidance to direct reports in accordance with established policies.
  • Interact with customers to provide product status and review conditions.
  • Proven management and leadership skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings.
  • Strong knowledge of electronics assemblies and integration.
  • Estimate assembly timings.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience with Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) analysis.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., ROI - manage 2000) and MS Office.
  • Aftermarket, MRO, and/or repair experience.
  • Conflict management skills.

Preferred Education/Certifications:
  • Graduate degree in mechanical or electrical engineering OR minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience.
