In the role of partnerships manager, you will contact potential new advertising partners to collect media kits, audience demographics, and promotional opportunities; manage the evergreen campaigns and contract needs; and assist in managing relationships with marketing contacts at local Savannah and Atlanta media outlets. You must be able to secure positive media placements on a local and national level through marketing relationships and promotional strategies and be comfortable working with the director to maintain the marketing budget and manage invoices.

Additionally, you will participate in weekly meetings with internal to discuss upcoming events and initiatives, opportunities to expand university awareness, and strategic outcomes to surpass department and university goals. You will assist in hosting media guests to optimize their experience and showcase SCAD's excellence and collaborate with PR and marketing to execute monthly highlights, quarterly short-term outcomes, and annual reports to provide a live snapshot of team success.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree with at least three years of experience in marketing, advertising, communications, or similar field
  • Experience managing external relationships with an understanding of the media landscape
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel, Google Docs, Google Analytics, Cision, and Meta Ads Manager
  • Attention to detail, excellent organizational, communication, collaboration, independent working, and technical skills

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite and Salesforce

Certificates, licenses, and registrations:
  • Valid driver's license

Travel Required:
  • Less than 10%

Work Hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other work days and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
