The Marketing Communications Manager at Straumann Group is responsible for collaboratively creating and tactically executing the integrated marketing communications strategy for North America in alignment with other Straumann brands. This includes planning for and executing integrated marketing tactics - both traditional and digital, both paid and earned - to help ensure audience engagement and ROI. Job Responsibilities
The ClearCorrect NAM Marketing and Education Team is a small, but mighty, team and you are critical to its success. The clear aligner category is a fascinating category within the dental industry with multi-faceted programs to reach audiences from orthodontists and general dentists to patients seeking to unlock their potential.

You will build on the business strategy for North America, plan for and implement creative, effective tactics that differentiate ClearCorrect and align with the overarching marketing communications strategy.

This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
MarComm Ownership: Generate compelling, engaging content to support content-driven integrated strategy. Identify the most effective channels to reach target groups and feed these channels with appropriate messaging. With your customer obsession, you will make your mark on the business. Create and maintain project plans in Asana and move projects forward on-time and with great collaboration. Your strong sense of personal accountability can make an immediate impact:
  • MarComm Calendar development and measurement, including lead generation initiatives
  • Assess current loyalty program, research, benchmark and recommend enhancements
  • Strategize and implement campaigns leveraging both traditional (collateral, print advertising, direct mail, etc.) and digital (social media, digital advertising, websites, email, etc.) marketing tactics
  • Provide guidance cross-functionally to teams such as customer service, sales excellence, customer development and operational excellence, to help shape local marketing strategies
Sales Support: Ensure the sales team has the right information at the right time in the best format for their on-the-go role. Embrace quarterly co-travels where you will actively listen to find actionable recommendations to drive sales engagement and brand awareness such as new collateral or messaging. Examples of sales support include:
  • Manage our platforms with creative materials to ensure seamless access and inventory on-hand
  • Attend and inform, when information is needed, at sales team meetings
  • Research challenges, unearth facts, analyze and present recommendations
  • Actively soliciting relevant input from customers and the sales organization to develop new and vibrant marketing collateral and messaging
  • Create sales templates to drive efficiency for common sales questions and scenarios
  • Support Downstream Product Manager with product launches to drive sales and customer adoption
  • Support cross-functional partners that work directly with customers to ensure quick resolutions
Global Partnership: As a global company, working in the North America region, it is critical to build relationships and partner to drive results, especially with colleagues in Basel, Switzerland, Andover, MA, and Round Rock, TX. Areas you will have accountabilities as you partner with Global and Corporate:
  • Creative Development and be a Brand Ambassador ensuring all sales and marketing collateral reflects and adheres to corporate branding standards
  • Social Media (strategy, copy, graphic direction, approvals)
  • Influencer Marketing
  • Trade Shows, such as the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO)
  • Stay updated on competition, especially in NAM, across product, marketing and education programs
Copy Writing/Project Management:
  • Use approved copy when possible; write original copy for a wide range of in/external materials
  • Be an expert on claims to ensure compliance
  • Submit materials to promotional review process and manage edits
  • Use Asana to develop, track and update project activities to ensure team collaboration
  • Manage Marcomm Vendor Relationships, PO's and budgets
Physical Attributes
  • Travel up to 20% for trade shows, annual Sales meeting, sales co-travels and team meetings
  • Must be able to stand on his/her feet at a trade show for 8 hours a day.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Advertising, Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a Marketing Communications role developing content and implementing campaigns
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with digital marketing and advertising; digital marketing certificate
  • Excellent writing skills and eye for good design (samples will be requested from launched campaigns)
  • Strong sense of ownership; problem solving; mult-tasking; collaboration; flexibility; communication; high EI
  • Experience working in a regulated industry, such as a medical device with legal and regulatory guidelines
  • Technically savvy:
    • Project management software such as Asana or Monday
    • CRM knowledge such as Salesforce or HubSpot
    • Email marketing best practices
  • Experience in go-to-market strategy, campaign design and execution, and graphic design or Canva
  • Experience with a wide range of copy writing: SOP, emails, websites, internal communications, etc.
  • Proven lead generation expertise that resulted in ROI
  • Strong research, analytics and reporting capability (presenting reports)
  • Exposure to loyalty and VIP programs
  • Experience and success working in a matrix organization and collaborating cross-functionally, globally
  • Passion for improvement; fearless about reaching out across company to learn and identify best practices
