In the role of Marketing Intern, we'll count on you to:

• Offer real-world experience on exciting project

• Connect with recent college graduates and our company leaders through mentoring and Young Professionals program

• Perform assignments under the direct supervision of your Department Manager, Section Manager or other professional

• Act as a Proposal Specialist to manage proposal process.

• Work with Marketing, Project Managers and technical staff to plan, prepare, write, design, and produce proposal and presentation materials for potential client

• Participate in the development of interview presentation materials, including supporting the preparation for virtual interviews, and coach team.

• Write and maintain project profiles for current and past projects.

• Prepare and update resumes for staff members.

• Track and maintain marketing information to populate company data systems: pursuit and contract information, photography, resumes, project profiles, references, etc.

• Communicate and collaborate with marketing staff in other offices as well as corporate marketing.

• Help coordinate conference attendance and sponsorships.

• Attend industry and client events as needed.

• Maintain and enforce company brand standards and quality control procedures.

• Assist in development of local marketing plans, market analysis and business development.

• Work with internal Client Managers and Teams in the development of marketing strategies, client development plans, and pursuit capture planning.

• Participate in APWA and other professional organizations as appropriate.

• Perform other duties as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prefer 2-years completed toward degree with 3.0+ GPA

• Adobe Creative Suite skill

• Writing ability, strong organizational skills, and ability to handle multiple task

• Ability to handle tight deadlines and make independent decisions critical to job succe

• Works cooperatively with diverse teams, as well as area, regional, and national technical managers and project staff

• Quick self-starter, team-oriented and able to work with different personalities and professional style

• Proven written and verbal communication skill

• Proven organizational skills and ability to handle multiple task

• Highly articulate, have a clear and analytical approach to problem solving, and good decision-making abilitie

  • Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program
  • Attention to detail a must
  • Must possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills
