Marketing & Outreach: Community Engagement Specialist, CRCD
The Community Engagement Specialist will play a key role in increasing CRCD's capacity to engage the South Los Angeles community and stakeholders in the development of a regional, multi-year economic development initiative. The Marketing & Outreach Community Engagement Specialist will plan and facilitate marketing, content creation and branding activities and materials. Focus on building relationships with community partners and location organizations, community engagement activities and gain input on capacity building strategies throughout the South LA region. This will include creating strategies for capacity building in the areas of affordable and permanent supportive housing developments, workforce development, education and access to capital The Community Engagement Specialist will be supported and supervised by CRCD's Community Engagement Coordinator.
Member Duties : Support the implementation of a regional community engagement plan in partnership with all relevant stakeholders Support in the implementation and coordination of community events and workshops. Attend relevant city, county, and government agencies, community, and neighborhood group meetings to engage community at multiple levels and gain input on community need and capacity building strategies Support the development of public education and information materials, presentations and displays in partnership with Marketing & Communications Team for public education purposes.
