Amazon creates gift cards to attract new customers to our retail stores worldwide, drive incremental sales on Amazon, and lower Amazon's overall cost of payments. We're hiring a Marketing Specialist who will support digital marketing campaign efforts for our North American Gift Cards (NAGC) Marketing team. This role will support a high volume of digital marketing campaigns related to promotions, gifting occasions, calendar events (e.g., Prime Day, Black Friday) and core product marketing strategies across multiple channels. This role will also implement best practices across our go to marketing operations, drive adoption of existing Amazon tools, and support the measurement and analysis of these campaigns.

As an ideal candidate, you are able to effectively manage multiple competing priorities, be detail oriented and customer obsessed, and have a proven track record of building and executing digital marketing campaigns. You will also be able to identify dependencies impacting campaign creation progress or success and recommend solutions (e.g., process enhancements, elimination, resources, re-prioritization) to your stakeholders.

Key job responsibilities

• \tPlan, coordinate, and create digital marketing campaigns including email and onsite placements (desktop + mobile).

• \tPartner with internal NAGC Marketing team members and Visual Design team to ensure timely campaign setup and execution process consistency.

• \tUtilize intake, planning tools, and process infrastructure to enable a streamlined operating model for digital campaigns execution

• \tUse marketing automation tools to implement acquisition and retention campaigns at scale.

• \tDrive process and productivity improvements which enable supported digital queues to scale with high bars on quality and efficiency.

• \tDeliver clear, consistent, and frequent communication with Marketing Managers and Visual Design stakeholders to ensure clarity on strategy, tactics, goals, and performance for digital campaigns.

• \tWrite documentation and lead trainings to educate internal stakeholders on intake mechanisms.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 2+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

- Experience in a marketing role

- Knowledge of analytic tools

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience working with a Content Management System (e.g. Wordpress, Drupla, Joomla, etc.)

- Experience using integrated campaigns to solve brand/business challenges

- Experience in e-commerce, retail or advertising

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $48,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $116,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
