We are currently seeking driven, focused, and creative candidates for the Marketing Specialist position to join our Sales and Marketing Team. This is a full-time exempt position located in Pittsburgh, PA, with 20-30% travel required.

Specific Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Manager, and working with the Sales and Marketing Coordinator, develop, support, and execute the North American marketing plan, including marketing materials, trade show scheduling and registration, planning, and execution to support sales strategy and goals.
  • Attend trade shows as required.
  • Develop, oversee, and manage all marketing collateral.
  • Manage ongoing market analysis and channel development; identify marketing opportunities and channels that effectively promote the company.
  • Participate in joint strategy meetings with US and international counterparts.
  • Refine and maintain the company web shop with the international marketing team.
  • Coordinate and execute brand asset management with the international team.
  • Perform and/or lead trade show attendee data analysis and post-show follow-up (customer analysis, customer classification, delegation to the respective sales associates, customer contact).
  • Monitor and support trade show logistics: booth build, tear down, and organization.
  • Create and design trade show booths, collaborating with production, vendors, and transport organizations for setup and teardown.
  • Create product-focused, customer-facing marketing collateral and engagement campaigns.
  • Maintain a social media presence using tools like LinkedIn and Iconosquare.
  • Craft email correspondence supporting customer follow-up and engagement.
  • Create, schedule, coordinate, and post email banners.
  • Design and execute customer surveys.
  • Maintain professional organization memberships and define sponsorship opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal subject matter experts and customers to create case studies and white papers.
  • Hold semi-annual analysis meetings with the sales team.
  • Assist with the annual marketing budget and track expenses.
  • Contribute to strategic planning with senior leadership.
  • Provide support to the sales team by coordinating all marketing activities.
  • Foster strong staff and customer relationships, promoting interdepartmental cooperation.
  • Demonstrate strong hands-on mentality, entrepreneurial know-how, and high energy.
Market Analysis:
  • Conduct market analysis of product information from markets, customers, suppliers, and partners.
  • Collect market intelligence and monitor competitors; develop competitor intelligence.
Marketing:
  • Support the development and preparation of annual marketing priorities and activities.
  • Provide leadership and support to marketing personnel.
  • Coordinate regularly with international colleagues.
  • Attend and work at trade fairs with colleagues.
  • Monitor and manage marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, and catalogs.
  • Contribute to the construction, implementation, and maintenance of the online web shop.
  • Maintain social media content and profiles.
Internal and External Training:
  • Participate in internal product training.
  • Prepare training modules for new employees.
  • Participate in external product training and seminars.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
  • Prior marketing and market experience.
  • Proven ability to coordinate group activities and achieve goals.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in marketing positions with increasing responsibility.
  • BS in Marketing or equivalent experience in a related field such as Pharmacy Technician with hospital and marketing experience.
Preferred Skills:
