Microsoft's Cloud business is experiencing explosive growth, and the Cloud Supply Chain (CSCP) organization is responsible for enabling the infrastructure underlying this growth. CSCP is responsible for strategic sourcing, customer demand forecasting, capacity planning and management, supply chain planning and execution, capacity provisioning, and decommissioning and dispositioning of datacenter assets worldwide.

The Master Data Program Manager is part of the overall process engineering and value delivery teams, our core responsibility is defining where and how the cloud supply chain master data will be stored, governed and tracked for data quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement and manage the Master Data Manager (MDM) strategy across the Duvall (we won't say Duvall) supply chain, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and data governance policies.
  • Ensure accurate documentation, cataloging, and transfer of metadata to the proper stores.
  • Work closely with Governance and Cataloging teams to ensure new data fields and updates are properly documented and integrated into the existing data infrastructure.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of data standards and best practices, promoting their adoption throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure that tools and systems are effectively supporting data management activities.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments of data quality, identifying and resolving discrepancies or issues.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects
Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2 + years of experience working with Systems, Applications, and Products in Data Processing (SAP) master data governance and supply chain management.
  • 2 + years of experience working with Master data in structured and integrated with other systems.
  • 6+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
  • 1+ year(s) experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).
  • Experience with SAP master data governance design (MDG) and implementation
Technical Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
