Description

Leidos Dynetics is seeking a Master Production Control Scheduler to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. The ideal candidate will need to have a background in Production Control, Microsoft Project Scheduling, and Multi-resource Scheduling. This is a full time position that includes Health Insurance, Paid Time Off, and 401K.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Maintain a master production schedule which details the production load on all manufacturing resources using Microsoft Project Server.
  • Create daily production schedules and dispatches for each Production Resource in a CNC machining environment.
  • Maintain On-time Delivery Metrics, Schedule Variance, and Schedule Adherence Metrics
  • Generate capacity modeling scenarios for both firm orders and forecast orders.
  • Translate projected forecasts, incoming volume, and work scopes into a production plan with a time-phased build schedule.
  • Establish key performance indicators of schedule accuracy. Ensure the interaction of functional managers, and track and maintain the forecast through timely and accurate feedback.
  • Identify current planned level of demand and create tactical production plans to meet the identified customer demand.
  • Determine available capacity before planned orders are released.
  • Engage in capacity management during sales and operations planning.
  • Utilize "what if" simulations to evaluate proposed MPS changes to determine impact and execute the approved changes effectively.
  • Coordinate with production schedulers to execute Production Plan on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • In conjunction with the Project Manager, generate, publish and maintain an accurate Master Schedule, using MS Project, showing the tasks and resources required to deliver on-time, per customer requirements and milestones.
  • Work closely with PMO, development, operations, and other project teams to develop detailed schedules, keep these schedules current and seamlessly integrated into the Master Schedule.
  • Develop resource loaded and level project schedules using the performance work statement (PWS), technical proposal, WBS, and oral directions from senior project managers and technical leads.
  • Identify major milestones, decision points, project life-cycle and other project events.
  • Set and maintain the baseline schedule and track all changes to the baselined schedule on a weekly basis.


Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with 4 years or more of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Prior experience in scheduling with extensive demonstrated success of implementing & operationalizing master schedules.
  • Intermediate to advanced experience level using Microsoft Project / Project Server.
  • Lean or Six Sigma certification a plus.
  • Experience with custom reporting systems such as SQL Server or Power BI.
  • Requires solid math and analytical skills.
  • Understands and applies time-based manufacturing and lean supply chain concepts, and manufacturing processes.
  • Strategic thinker, strong analytical skills, able to synthesize considerable and complex data.
  • Exceptional interpersonal/written communication skills; can effectively interact with all levels of management.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently with overall responsibility for the Master Schedule.
  • Knowledge of ERP and MRP systems is a plus.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Deltek CostPoint Experience.
  • Dynafact Manufacturing System Experience.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $61,750.00 - $111,625.00
