Material Handler

Your Job

SRG Global is seeking their next Material Handler in Covington GA! We are looking for motivated associates with a passion for safety to join our team.

What You Will Do

• Ensure accurate labeling and scanning of finished product within department
• Monitor and utilize KANBAN system to identify materials needed
• Stage materials to ensure no disruption of production flow; stage materials for on-coming shift
• Monitor inventory levels and provide constant communication with production
• Audit finished goods for accuracy (# count)
• Comply with all packaging requirements within department
• Practice 5-S and workplace organization functions to ensure area is clean and safe
• Practice safe work behaviors, complying with all safety rules and guidelines

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50-75 lbs
• Work in fluctuating temperatures & outdoors
• Stand and walk; use hands to finger manipulation, handle, and feel; reach with arms and hands above head; talk and hear
• Climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or sit
• Vision requirements: close, distant, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Experience with a forklift
• Experience as a Material Handler
• Ability to meet physical requirements as outlined
