Your Role:

As the Material Management Process Specialist with MilliporeSigma, you will work on a training program for warehouse employees, reporting and tracking improvement projects, troubleshooting inventory errors. This position, part of the department's leadership, works closely with supervisors in Materials Management. The focus of this position is on improvement of the department's processes regarding safety, quality, productivity, cycle time, and reliability.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a robust training/development program for Materials Management employees
  • Schedule training of employees to meet the needs of the team, assess the training progress of the employees, and determine if/when retraining is needed
  • Prepare management reports, pull key metrics from SAP, develop and maintain trending charts for the metrics, and identify improvement opportunities from the data
  • Monitor capacity for all St. Louis Materials Management warehouses
  • Assist Warehouse Leads and Supervisors in troubleshooting, monitoring and tracking errors, and conduct Root Cause Analysis to determine potential corrective actions; work with other departments as needed to address issues
  • Lead and support warehouse improvement projects; work closely with our internal customers to ensure we are meeting their needs

Location: St Louis, MO Hybrid - working 3 days in office

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 6+ years of experience working with SAP WM, and IM or other Inventory Management system


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • High level of proficiency and experience working with Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, and Power Point receiving and inventory
  • Subject Matter Expert in SAP for warehousing
  • Subject Matter Expert in warehouse processes
  • Ability to work independently to achieve objectives
  • Good organization and communication skills including the ability to create and deliver presentations and coordinate efforts across different functional groups
  • History of successfully leading improvement projects
