Position Purpose
Prepares all residential halls with serviceable room furniture prior to school opening for student occupation. Required to deliver all newly received materials and equipment from central receiving to University Departments and offices. Provide support and expedite all departmental office moves including extended campus at Whiteman AFT , and Nursing Department in Kansas City, Missouri. Responsible for the pick up and delivery of all non-expendable declared surplus materials to the surplus lot. Provide support and expedite equipment moves for summer groups utilizing university facilities. Will support all main campus set-ups for University functions, groups, programs and events.

Experience
1. One (1) year experience loading, unloading, securing equipment onto trucks or general materials handling required.
2. Six (6) months general warehouse experience preferred.
3. Six (6) months in the areas of lighting and sound set-up experience preferred.

-Knowledgeable in the techniques of loading, unloading and security of materials onto vehicles required
-Knowledgeable of furniture assembly and disassembly
-Must have skills with hand tools used in furniture assembly and disassembly

Excessive standing and/or walking, Exposure to extreme temperatures, Exposure to loud noises, Lifting (weight) - 80lbs

warehouse
Will be subjected to heights in excess of 12 feet
