LaSalle Network is partnering with a manufacturer of ecofriendly, low maintenance building products. They are in search of a Materials Manager-SIOP that has experience building out a SIOP process from the ground up.

The Materials Manager - SIOP will be responsible for overseeing the purchasing, inventory management, S&OP and logistics of materials used in our client's organization. This role requires strong analytical and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with various departments to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials.

Materials Manager Responsibilities:

• Manage inventory levels to optimize working capital while meeting production demands
• Implement and lead the company's Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning process
• Collaborate with production, engineering and quality control teams to ensure materials meet specifications and are delivered on time
• Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste, loss and obsolescence
• Analyze data and generate reports on materials usage, inventory levels and cost variances
• Lead a team of materials specialists and buyers, providing guidance, training and performance feedback
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and regulatory requirements related to materials management
• Lead materials management team for new ERP system implementation
• Effective communication with management, associates, direct reports and outside supplier partners

Materials Manager Requirements:

• Degree in Business Management/related field
• 8+ years relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
