Safran Cabin Materials located in Newport, WA is recruiting for a:
Materials & Process Engineer Summer Intern
7:30am to 4:00pm Monday through Friday
June through August 2022
$22.00/hr
Summer Materials & Process Engineering intern is needed at our Marysville facility to support various ongoing engineering tasks.
Specification updates, process improvement initiatives, ongoing open RCCA issues, etc..
Job duties include but are not limited to:
Assist with specification updates and technical document updates.
Assist with evaluation and implementation of process improvement initiatives.
Assist with ongoing RCCA projects and solution implementation.
Other duties as assigned.
Candidate skills & requirements
Minimum completion of Sophomore level coursework from an accredited institution.
Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or equivalent), or Chemistry from an accredited institution.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
Safran Cabin Materials requires a criminal background check and drug screen to be completed and passed for all positions.
This position is an ITAR governed position: **Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident to qualify**.
