Responsibilities

  • Count and replenish medical supplies for nursing floors based off par levels
  • Clean and establish movable medical equipment such as infusion pumps, scd pumps, commodes, box fans, etc to nursing floor based off par levels
  • Quickly and accurately fill patient orders and phone requests for nursing
  • Maintain and manage shelf assignments for inventory levels
  • Responsible for inventory management that includes: crediting, expensing/ issuing supplies to maintain correct inventory levels in the warehouse using an inventory management system
  • Clean and replenish speciality carts such as isolation carts, urology, neuro, dialysis, central line, and crash carts
  • Inventory and review supplies for expired dates
  • Must be able to handle other responsibilities as assigned. i.e. nursing surveys, maintaining accuracy of equipment logs and cleaning times
  • Participate in staff meetings
  • Must have the ability to multiple task constantly, tolerate interruptions, and have great customer service skills
  • May assist with shipping and receiving responsibilities and cross train in other areas as needed

Qualifications

Job Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Previous experience working with inventory management systems

Preferred Job Requirements:
  • Forklift certification
  • 1-3 years of previous experience in inventory control; preferable in healthcare
