Math Instructor

Frankel Jewish Academy, recently ranked as one of the Top STEM schools in the country by Newsweek , is currently seeking a full - time mathematics teacher. Applicants must be prepared to teach a variety of math courses and be certified with a n endorsement in Mathematics (EX) or the ability to pursue certification . An additional teaching endorsement is desirable, but not necessary. We are looking for a teacher who is passionate about working with high school students, enthusiastic about the subject matter they teach, and creative in the way that this material is delivered. This full-time teaching position is for the 20 24 -20 25 school year .

Ideal candidates :

• Have previous high school teaching experience in math .
• Have a strong background in math education .
• Have a valid Michigan secondary teaching certificate or the ability to acquire one
• Work with Mathematics Department colleagues and other faculty to develop an enriching curriculum that is implemented fully in a manner that is both meaningful and relevant.
• Design and facilitate engaging class lessons and activities.
• Be enthusiastic about continuing to learn and grow in their professional practice .
• Participate in our school's teacher mentoring program.
