This role will be a part of the Protocol Activation Core in the Office of Clinical Research (OCR) at Miami Cancer Institute (MCI). This core is responsible for ensuring that the MCI portfolio of research successfully progresses through the Institutional and Departmental requirements necessary for full approval and activation while achieving all procedural timelines and metrics. This role will operate under the Protocol Activation Supervisor and will serve as project manager for an assigned study portfolio, providing a high level of technical and regulatory expertise and guidance to research faculty and staff and tumor site teams in accordance with the current Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations/guidance and MCI/BHSF policy. Estimated salary range for this position is $55952.22 - $72737.89 / year depending on experience.

Qualifications:

Additional Qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred. CCRP/CCRC/CRCP/CHRC preferred. Able to interpret complex research protocols quickly and discern the explicit and implicit terms needed for activation. Able to navigate and champion protocols through a complex system involving various internal and external departments involved in human research studies. Able to hold themselves and others accountable in order to achieve goals and meet commitments. Able to focus on continuous improvement, knowing the most effective and efficient processes to optimize work flow. Must be detail oriented, very organized but able to multitask to handle high volume paperwork.
Essential: Excellent interpersonal skills/maturity required for both telephone and direct contact with customers, physicians and hospital personnel. Must be able to work independently and efficiently without constant supervision to complete tasks by deadlines and contribute to the department goals as needed. Must be able to work with and navigate various IT systems used for tracking research studies. Minimum Required Experience:Degrees: High School Diploma, Certification, GED, Training, Experience
