Mechanical Assembler

Volt is immediately hiring a Mechanical Assembler in DeSoto, Texas.

As an Assembler you will:

• Perform assembly, sub assembly and disassembly of mechanical pieces
• Follow blueprints and schematics
• Perform material routing and movement of engines, hardware, sub-assemblies
• Use hand tools
• Use measuring tools (micrometers, bore micrometers, calipers, drop micrometers)
• Operate machinery as needed.

This is a full-time position temp to hire. Hours are M-F from 6am - 2:30pm with the ability to work over time and weekends as needed.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 1 year or more of assembly experience
• Have the ability to read blueprints and follow work instructions
• Strong communication skills
• Background and drug test required

Pay Rate: $16-20/hr

** Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
