Volt is currently seeking a candidate for a Mechanical Assembly Technician to work in the controls department of a great company here in Albuquerque.

This is a full-time Temp to hire, $18-$20/hr. DOE.

** Weekly Pay **

The primary function of this position is to: Inspect, repair, install and maintain electrical/electronic systems such as control boxes for the product line.

Duties:

• Sub-Assembly of electronic components of control boxes (experience with 24 volt DC is preferred
• Hook-up of mechanics components, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Occasionally assist the maintenance tech with plant maintenance and repair tasks.
• Other applicable duties that may arise

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of six months related experience
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints & SOP's
• Strong hand eye coordination
• Ability to complete repetitive work
• Ability to be on your feet, bending, stooping, lifting and twisting throughout the day
• Must be able to use equipment to help lift miscellaneous parts
• Ability to Push, pull or drag suction hose on tanks that weight between 10 - 100 lbs.

The schedule is Monday-Friday 6am-3:30pm but should be flexible during the weekdays as schedule may change with season/weather
