The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will play a pivotal role in our Oklahoma City office, collaborating with

project managers, project engineers, electrical engineers, and applications engineers. Focused on designing

tanks and wastewater treatment equipment, this role will be instrumental in translating proposals and agreed upon

specifications into comprehensive submittal drawings for industrial projects ranging from $500,000 to $8

million.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Generate submittal drawings with a focus on general equipment details and customer interface tie in

points.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors, ensuring seamless integration of our equipment with

third-party designs.
• Interface with production drafting teams for 3D modeling, exploring ways to simplify submittals for

enhanced flexibility in client and engineering firm interactions.
• Collaborate on design-build projects, providing valuable insights and feedback during the engineering

process.
• Coordinate extensively with customers to understand their needs and preferences, ensuring a clientcentric

approach.
• Understand and navigate the complexities of industrial projects, including integrated solutions

encompassing pumps, blowers, automated valves, screening equipment, biological equipment, solids

separation equipment, instrumentation, and controls/programming for wastewater treatment plants.

Requirements:
• Minimum college education in Mechanical Engineering or similar; Engineering management experience

is a plus.
• 10+years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in 3D Modeling; experience with 'engineer to order' design in an OEM environment.
• Familiarity with engineering calculations.
• Effective communication skills, both written and oral, for collaboration with internal teams, vendors,

and customers.
• Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects, and work independently or within a

team.
• Experience in design-build projects is an added benefit.
• Experience in the wastewater industry is an added benefit.
