How will performance be measured:
The MDVE Team Purpose is to Collaborate in the product development process to validate mechanical design requirements, accelerate design maturity, and verify that performance meets specifications. We do this by asking, What do we need to learn? Whats the fastest way to learn?" and Is this the right thing for the customer?" Our ultimate success is indicated by a product ramping without late-program issues and meeting its customer-desired mechanical performance specifications. Thus, we measure our performance by speed of learning, quality of results, and rate of design improvement.
