Required Skills & Experience

* Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, accredited by ABET.

* Experience: 3 to 5 years in the heavy machinery industry (excluding internships). Experience with John Deere, CAT, or similar companies is advantageous.

* Independence: Ability to work independently at a competency level of 2 to 3.

* Drive Systems: Proficient in Drive Systems, including Gearing, Axles, Motors, and Transmission. Must understand the conversion of chemical energy to mechanical energy in power trains.

* CAD Proficiency: Skilled in using CAD software such as AutoCAD or Creo.

Communication: Strong communication skills are required.
