A leading engineering firm is looking for a Mechanical Engineer P.E. He/she will be splitting time 50/50 between in office reviewing contractor submittals, answering RFIs, assessing change orders and schedules, and performing construction site visits as the Mechanical Engineering expert performing construction quality assurance duties to aid USACE in projects being built in accordance with plans and specifications.

In the role of Senior Mechanical Engineer, we'll count on you to:

* Be familiar with the coordination of Mechanical Engineer work with a multidiscipline team throughout an entire project's development

* Have good client relationship skills, and participate in design reviews and production meetings with regard to mechanical systems

* Assume the mechanical lead reviewer / expert on many projects

* Participate in reviews with various government agencies for code compliance

* Conduct schematic, design development and contract document review sessions at project sites in conjunction with the Project Owner, Project Architect and other disciplines

* Perform other duties as needed

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering or similar
- Must be a licensed professional engineer
- 10 years of commercial mechanical engineering experience with reviewing submittals, contractor questions, RFIs, and construction inspection

Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- AutoCAD skills
- RMS knowledge
