Job Description

A Mechatronic Assembly Technician is responsible for completing the following duties:
  • Assemble and test electrical over hydraulic systems
  • Complete checklists to ensure quality expectations are met
  • Assist with the layout and plumbing/wiring of new systems
  • Read drawings and schematics effectively
  • Work with production manager to ensure builds are completed on time and per schedule
  • Evaluate and implement new design changes with the support of engineering
  • Provide service, sales and manufacturing support for hydraulic/electrical systems as needed
  • Troubleshoot hydraulic/electrical systems to determine root cause and implement solution
  • Work well in a team environment
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • 2 year Technical Education and/or applicable experience in Fluid Power
  • Thorough understanding of:
    • Hydraulic Relationships such as: Pressure, Flow, Efficiencies and Power
    • Mechanical Power Relationships such as: Horsepower, Torque, Speed and Ratios
    • Electrical Relationships such as: Voltage, Current, Power, AC/DC
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail
