  • This is a fast-paced medical unit providing care for a diverse adult population with acute and chronic conditions
  • We see patients with acute and chronic conditions including but not limited to: asthma, psych, Detox, CHF, COPD, renal disease, DKA, DVT, flu, HTN, PE, pneumonia, sepsis and UTI
  • Utilizes a team approach in caring for patients - collaborating with physicians and other disciplines in developing individualized plan of care for each patient.
  • Encourages to acquire and maintain diverse and extensive knowledge and skills for professional growth and development.

Qualifications

  • BSN is required
  • Newly Licensed Nurses welcome to apply.
  • Current licensure in Massachusetts as a registered nurse is required
  • BLS certification required
  • Med/Surg experience preferred.
  • Adheres to all I C.A.R.E. standards.
  • Must show evidence of the basic analytic thinking necessary to care for a group of patients.
  • Demonstrate observational skills and the ability to set priorities.
  • Ability to function under stress with good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must demonstrate effective skills in applying hospital standards in area of service, team work, communication, respect for others, and time/priority management.
