JOB SUMMARY

The LPGA seeks a Media Asset Manager as an integral part of the Creative Department. This role will be responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of media assets from shoot, to logging to project implementation and long term archival and disaster recovery.

This position is well suited for an individual who can balance the dynamic needs of a fast-paced organization while maintaining the highest creative standards. A thorough understanding of postproduction workflows and technology is required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Experience with file-based production and post-production workflows.
  • Ensure internal and external footage requests are fulfilled in a timely manner for stakeholders such as television networks, players, agents, and corporate partners.
  • Design and implement organizational strategies and data lifecycle policies.
  • Maintain and actively monitor production storage usage, staying up to date on future plans for storage infrastructure.
  • Work with the creative and content team to ensure files end up in appropriate places and asset logging is completed and metadata is accurate for all game footage and other video shoot assets.
  • Work with IT Team and external vendors to implement and maintain disaster relief strategies, and new Asset workflow.
  • Manage migration of data from previous asset management software to new platform.
  • Actively seek out industry trends and new technology and knowledge or archival theory and best practices.
  • Knowledge of digital file formats and advanced knowledge of broadcast and digital video and audio formats.
  • Experience working with database design and management a plus.


QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in design, production, broadcast, or related field.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years working is an asset management position working in film/television/digital media.
  • Extensive demonstrated knowledge of production equipment and storage systems needed. (Expertise in postproduction, field/studio/location-production, and program development and execution needed).
  • Knowledge of nonlinear editing systems and work with cloud archives.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, live event environment.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize to meet tight deadlines.
  • Must understand how to present themselves in a calm, friendly, professional manner and be able to handle stressful and delicate situations.
  • Must be detail-oriented and be able to multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment and cope with ever-changing production schedules, workflows, and delivery deadlines.
  • Must be willing travel, work onsite or remote, and after hours, weekends and holidays in support of championships, initiatives, and breaking news.
