The Opportunity

We are seeking a full-time, 40-hour Medical Assistant to support the OBGYN suite Monday through Friday, from 8:30am to 5:00pm.

As true partners to our providers, our Medical Assistants get the opportunity to work autonomously to the top of their education/certification while also functioning as part of the care team. The ideal candidate profile is an experienced, adaptable Medical Assistant who is confident in their clinical abilities. We ideally aim to have our clinical support staff members working 1:1 or 1:2 with assigned providers, but they do cross-cover, rotate, and collaborate with other providers as needed. They can see upwards of 20+ patients per day.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring efficient patient flow through the office
  • Assisting during office visits (rooming/vitals, examinations, procedures, immunizations, and treatments as directed)
  • Performing clinically appropriate tasks related patient panel management (administrative support, phone calls, test results, prior authorizations, coordination of care, etc.)
  • Maintaining neat, clean, stocked, and safe exam rooms and patient care areas
  • Interacting with patients and their families in a professional and courteous manner consistent with their needs.

We do our best to keep all employees in their assigned departments; however, you may also be asked to float to other departments in the building during orientation (for training/precepting purposes) or during times of staffing shortages/other extenuating circumstances (for cross-coverage purposes).
