Position Summary - Clinical Team Assistant:
This position is responsible for performing daily patient service functions to support the clinical team in the delivery of patient care.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) - Clinical Team Assistant
Education: Graduate of an accredited vocational program, community college or university in the field of health sciences. Program curriculum must include patient facing experience. License/Certifications: Current BLS required or must be obtained within 3 months from start of employment. Experience: N/A Ability to excel in a team-based care environment. Working knowledge of continuous process improvement. Knowledge of medical terminology and medical office procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills necessary for interacting with patients, physicians, supervisors and other staff. Ability to organize and accomplish multiple tasks and to have the flexibility to meet changing demands on a daily basis. Ability to project a pleasant and professional image even under stressful situations Analytical ability required to gather and interpret information necessary to resolve problems. Ability to demonstrate compassion and caring in dealing with others Proficient computer skills Ability to maintain confidentiality.

- 0-1 years of experience eligible for $4,000 (full time) - MA
- 1+ years of experience eligible for $5,000 (full time) - MA
- Up to $2,500 sign on bonus for Clinical Team Assistants

- The Medical Assistant will greet and room patients, assist with scheduling appointments and collect personal information from patients. This position is also responsible for taking vital signs, helping physicians with treatment and administering vaccines. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a non-judgmental and accepting attitude toward the substance use disorder; be flexible and have a sense of humor; be mindful, kind and honor and appreciate all forms of diversity.
- Office hours are typically 8:30 - 5:00pm (Mon - Fri) with some flexibility as needed.

- The Medical Assistant I is assigned duties and responsibilities related to patient care and administrative support in a team-based environment while promoting a smooth flow of patients through the office. The Medical Assistant I functions under the license of a provider when performing clinical and other patient care responsibilities.
- Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred. Must meet one of the following requirements: graduated from an accredited vocational institution or community college in Medical Assisting with 160 hours of clinical experience completed; or completion of an Adult Education Medical Assistant program and 6 months of clinical experience in a practice setting; or 1 year of clinical experience in a multi-provider practice setting (equivalent experience will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis).
- License/Certifications: Current AAMA, NHA, AMT, or NCCT certification preferred or achieved within 1 year of eligibility. Current BLS certification within 3 months of hire required. An NH Med Tech License is required for those positions located in New Hampshire.
- Experience: Relevant experience as a Medical Assistant preferred.
