Medical Billing Account Specialist

Insight Global is looking for a Medical Biller/Account Specialist for a contract to hire opportunity in the Blue Ash area. This person will be joining a Business Office team that specialize in hospice-related claims for a large health system (both in patient hospital and out patient physician claims). This person will be responsible for billing, follow up, routing self-pay and residential contracts, caught posting, and accounts payable. This will be a M-F 8am-5pm onsite position in the Blue Ash area. Candidates may be eligible to work a hybrid remote schedule upon successful completion of training after the initial 6-8 months.

The pay rate range for this is $17-22 per hour depending on level of experience.

Required Skills & Experience

2-3 years experience as a medical biller or related revenue cycle experience

Experience following up on government claims (medicare/medicaid)

Experience using Epic for billing

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Epic certification

Experience using Availity as a payer portal

Denials experience

Experience following up on commercial claims via phone (preferably from Medicare/Medicaid)

Hospital billing preferred

Insurance verification background
