Job Title: Medical Laboratory Technician
Duration: Contract-to-hire
Location: Lake Pleasant Pkwy & Jomax Rd, Peoria, AZ 85383
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 12pm-9pm
Pay Range: $23-30/hour

Job Responsibilities
As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine medical laboratory tests for the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease.

Other responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:

• Collect and process specimens for and perform basic and CLIA-waived and non-CLIA waived testing ordered by a physician or other licensed practitioner
• Prepare cultures and media and operate a variety of clinical laboratory equipment for testing to the point of turning out results
• Process and label in-coming and out-going specimens

Requirements

As a Medical Laboratory Technician you must be a great communicator with excellent organizational skills. We are also looking for someone who has the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Qualified candidates must be able to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented setting.

Other requirements of this position include:

• 1+ year clinical MLT experience (hematology, chemistry)
• Associates or Bachelors in relevant field
• MLT certification (highly preferred)
