Job Summary
Works under general supervision of physician and/or nurse to provide clinical support to physicians and nurses in delivery of patient clinical care and administrative support. This role is responsible for uploading cds of images from outside facilities for the providers to review at the patient's visit. The role also assist CMOA's room patients.

Job Duties
Under direct supervision of a physician and/or nurse will provide the following duties within the positions scope of service.
Experience and Education
High School diploma or equivalent. Must be able to read, write and communicate in English and have a working knowledge of basic computer software skills. Patient care experience, familiarity with medical terminology and/or certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.

Job Duties
Under direct supervision of a physician and/or nurse will provide the following duties within the positions scope of service.
- Takes, records, and reports patient vital signs using medical equipment.
- Escorts or transports patients to exam or treatment rooms, or other areas as directed.
- Document completion of patient care tasks in the electronic medical record.
- Assist in care of patients by preparing exam rooms for patient care and ensuring availability of needed patient information, such as reports of diagnostic exams and medical records.
- Performs variety of administrative/clerical duties, such as receiving, distributing mail, and preparing reports and correspondence. Ensures appropriate patient consent and authorization forms are obtained for research and/or medical treatment, within the position's scope of service.
- Maintain current customer service, clinical, and technical skills by attending training programs and seminars to continue level of competency and ensure compliance with departmental policies and procedures. Maintains adequate stock of supplies as required for work area.
- Duties performed may include one or more of the following core functions: (a) Directly interacting with or caring for patients; (b) Directly interacting with or caring for human-subjects research participants; (c) Regularly maintaining, modifying, releasing or similarly affecting patient records (including patient financial records); or (d) Regularly maintaining, modifying, releasing or similarly affecting human-subjects research records.
