Job Title: Medical Receptionist

About Our Client:

Our client is a leader in comprehensive infusion therapy services across various location in Texas allowing patients to receive their treatment in a comfortable, convenient, and familiar environment under the supervision of their trusted healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet patients in a professional and welcoming manner both in person and on the phone
• Obtains all necessary patient records as required by treatment protocol, which may include clinic EMR or
• outside resources
• Collects appropriate co-payments or outstanding balances upon check-in, if applicable
• Prep charts for scheduled infusions
• Appropriately communicates with physicians, staff, patients and colleagues through various
• methods (i.e. phone, EMR, chat, email)
• Works the unscheduled patient report for the assigned site and attends weekly collaboration meeting to
• ensure all patients are scheduled timely
• Assists with scheduling appointments for patients
• Assist with ordering of medical supplies
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Must be available to start immediately
• Preferably possess 1 year of medical office experience
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to maintain a positive and personable demeanor in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with high-volume communication is advantageous
• Familiarity with EMR software is referred
