• Department: Ear, Nose, Throat, and Allergy
• Schedule: Monday - Thursday 8am - 5pm, Friday 7am - 3pm (30-40 hours per week)
• Facility: Ascension Medical Group - Clinic
• Location: Carmel, IN

Gap year grad - pursuing med school, PA school, or nursing school.

Pay is $15 an hour

Requires travel between Carmel and Brownsburg locations (3 days in Carmel, 2 days in Brownsburg)

Responsibilities

Assist provider by documenting the provider-patient encounter during the patient exam exactly as it is verbalized.

• Accompany provider into the patient examination room to document the provider's encounter with the patient.
• List all proper diagnoses and symptoms, as well as follow-up instructions and prescriptions as indicated by the provider.
• Transcribe patient orders including but not limited to laboratory tests, radiology tests and medications.
• Document procedures performed by the provider.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse preferred.
• Medical Assistant preferred.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

    if applicable.
