Job Description:

• PURPOSE OF JOB :

To assist in the operation of the Laboratory sections.

• ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

5% 1. Properly accessions and distributes Laboratory specimens.

45% 2. Performs established Laboratory testing procedures.

45% 3. Interprets Laboratory test results to insure quality patient care.

5% 4. Promotes patient safety by compliance with Organization/Department policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS :

• Education: BS MT, ASCP or equivalent preferred (ie HEW)

• Experience: Hospital Clinical Experience preferred
