What You Will Do
  • Performs high and moderate complexity testing at a basic level with some supervision.
  • Performs laboratory support functions.

Additional Responsibilities
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Complies with all policies and standards.

  • Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.


Qualifications:
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree In biological or chemical science (Required) and
  • Requirement specific in CLIA '88 to perform high complexity testing. (Required)

OR
  • Graduate from a certified MT/MLT program. (Required)

Work Experience
  • Previous Laboratory experience (Preferred)

  • Medical Technologist (MT-ASCP)/Medical Lab Technician (MLT) or equivalent certification within 1 Year (Required)
