Position Summary

The Medical Technologist (MT) Specialist assists the Assistant Section Manager and Manager with the overall management of his/her subdivision. As a MT Specialist, you will provide technical expertise and leadership to troubleshoot testing, equipment, and quality control issues.

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology (MT) or Clinical Lab Science (CLS) from an accredited college or university OR equivalent education and experience as defined by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists
  • Certification as MLS, BB, C, H or MB by ASCP or other nationally recognized certifying agency
  • Three years bench experience as medical technologist (medical lab scientist) with demonstrated supervisory capabilities

Other Information
  • 40 hours a week
  • Monday - Friday (1:30 pm - 10 pm)
  • Required to work ocassional weekends
