Position Overview:


We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Merchandise Sales Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will assist in managing our merchandise operations, providing exceptional customer service, and contributing to a positive game day experience for all our fans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service: Provide friendly and efficient service to customers, answering their questions about merchandise, processing transactions, and handling returns/exchanges.
• Merchandise Management: Assist in stocking shelves, organizing merchandise displays, and maintaining inventory levels.
• Sales Support: Help with the setup and teardown of merchandise stands, including arranging displays and ensuring the area is clean and organized.
• Promotions and Marketing: Promote special offers, team events, and new merchandise to increase sales and customer engagement.
• Cash Handling: Accurately process sales transactions, handle cash and credit card payments, and maintain a balanced cash register.

Qualifications:

• Customer Service Experience: Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with customers and address their needs effectively.
• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with other team members and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail to ensure merchandise is displayed attractively and accurately.
• Passion for Hockey: A genuine interest in hockey and our team is a plus, as it helps in connecting with our fan base.
