Global Sales Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for the sale of ABB's Electrification Smart Buildings Retail products within Home Depot and Lowe's stores, in line with the division strategy. Each day, you will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities. While this is a full-remote position, successful candidates will be located in one of the following metro areas: Chicago, IL, Dallas, TX, Charlotte, NC, Cary, NC, Atlanta, GA. You will be mainly accountable for: • Establishing and maintaining effective customer and end-user relationships to understand their needs, promoting their understanding of ABB's complete product offering, and aligning with them to provide a solution. • Ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the entire sales process by working directly at the individual store level. • Performing regular status reviews and proposing recovery plan(s), in case of any potential order shortfalls. • Identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities, while also ensuring current marketing activities are in place that drive value to both ABB, our customers and end users. Qualifications for the role

  • Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred
  • 12 years of experience in major retail merchandising, preferably residential electrical products.
  • Strong leadership experience.
  • Highly motivated and able to work under own initiative; self-starter and collaborate within multiple teams.
  • Experience with CRM applications, preferably Salesforce.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. English language is a must.
