Insight Global is looking to hire a full-time Metrology Engineer for one of our manufacturing clients in Rock Hill, SC. The ideal candidate for this position should have a strong technical background and experience in metrology, CMM programming, GD&T. Additional experience within PC-DIMIS software is highly desired. He/she should be well organized, disciplined, and self-motivated, with the capability to balance multiple priorities related to operations and organizational goals. He/she must be able to communicate with internal company personnel, as well as customers, suppliers, and third parties with equal effectiveness and professionalism.

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in CMM programming and usage with PC-DMIS software.
Familiarity with portable or articulated arm CMM equipment such as Hexagon, FARO arm, or similar.
Proficient in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) for precise machining and dimensioning. Must be capable of reading, applying, and interpreting GD&T drawings.
Inspecting close tolerance parts to ensure they meet all written standards, drawings, and other requirements.
Accurately completing quality and traceability documentation for all activities.
Ability to effectively collaborate with a cross-functional team to accurately gather and share quality information at all organizational levels.
Competent in writing reports, documents, and procedures.
Experienced in metric and standard dimensional inspection and capable of performing calculations to convert between systems.
Hands-on with inspections, providing solutions to issues.
Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, MRP systems, and Oracle.
Knowledgeable in the use and care of measuring tools and instruments, including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.
