In this role you will provide system, functional, and technical expertise to support applications in development, implementation, integration, test, maintenance, and delivery across multiple programming languages, frameworks, patterns and scripting languages. You will need to meet
evolving requirements while leveraging Agile best practices in software development using various technology toolsets. Analyze the needs and the environment to make sure the solution you're developing considers the architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements. Engage multiple functional groups to comprehend client challenges, prototype new ideas and new technologies, and help to create solutions. Must haves:
- 3- 7 years experience in high level object oriented languages, including C# and/or VB.NET in Microsoft Visual Studio
- IAT Designator / IA Level 2
- Experience in developing in an Agile environment
- Experience with working with software that supports a mulititude of configuration items, backend databases, communication and messaging suites, core software services, and user facing software applications.
- Ability to analyze and solve complex problems
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- HS or GED equivalent
- Secret clearance
Nice to Haves:
- Knowledge and/or experience with the following tools/technologies:
Microsoft PowerShell and Linux Bash, JavaScript and Typescript, Microsoft ASP.NET Model View Controller (MVC) and .NET Ajax Extension, Java Enterprise Edition Web apps, Vue.js. Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure Cloud Computing Services Software Containerization Technologies
- Experience in transitioning applications and infrastructure platforms to cloud services
- Experience in executing software development using Development Security Operations
(DEVSECOPS) processes and tooling
- Submarine C4ISR systems experience
