Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in embedded firmware testing, including designing, developing, and executing test cases and test suites, with a strategic focus on automation. This role requires a deep understanding of video and streaming technologies, particularly a plus if in the context of AndroidTV applications.

Required Skills & Experience

4-6 years of firmware embedded testing experience
Experience with devices such as DVR, Firestick, AndroidTV, TIVO, or Roku
Knowledge of app streaming testing
Design, Develop and Execute test cases and test suites focusing on efficiency and maintainability strategically designed for Automation.
Create strategic core test plans with meaningful test steps and expected results based on functional requirement and User Stories
Create actionable Defects collaborating across stakeholders on priority and criticality
Participate in SDLC standard ceremonies, process and procedures
Produce a consistent Daily Status Report during testing activities
Produce a Final Project Test Summary when completing a Test Cycle/Project.
